dignitas are through to the Upper Bracket final in the European Minor Championship at DreamHack Tours after moving past ENCE 2-0 (16-11 on Train and 16-8 on Cobblestone). With Orbit already through to the Upper bracket final after moving past HellRaisers on two maps, the European Minor resumed with a Nordic clash between ENCE, featuring Niko "naSu" Kovanen as a stand-in, and dignitas. Train was the first map of the series, and here ENCE got off to a strong start on the defensive side, getting out to a quick 4-0 lead. dignitas then went on a great run and brought the scoreline to a 5-5 tie, but ENCE were simply dominant during the final stages of the half and took a 9-6 half-time lead. Now playing on the CT side, dignitas were simply far too hot for ENCE to handle as they never really gave the Finnish team a chance to build on the few rounds they edged out, locking down the map 16-11.
The map that followed was Cobblestone, where dignitas took a 3-0 lead after winning the pistol round with a great trio of headshots from Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel. When we reached gun rounds, the momentum of the game changed completely, with ENCE picking up several rounds in a row to overcome their initial deficit, but dignitas held strong and closed out the half with a narrow 8-7 advantage. Carrying their momentum into the second half, dignitas won the first two rounds as Terrorist to further increase their lead. A quad kill from Miikka "suNny" Kemppi still gave ENCE some hope, but dignitas rallied back right after and went on a six-round winning streak to seal a 16-8 victory.
